Football Clubs:
AC Sparta Praha - It is the most successful team among Czech teams in the European scene. It was founded by 3 brothers Rudl in 1893. The club reached the semifinals of the European Cup in 1992.
SK Slavia Praha - plays in Gambrinus liga, which belongs to the highest competition events in the Czech Republic.

Eis Hockey Clubs:
HC Sparta Prague - is one of the most successful and famous clubs in Czechoslovakian and later Czech ice hockey history. It was officially founded in 1909, but originally formed already in 1903. Highest national league participation: From the league foundation in 1936 to 1950 and from 1951 up to this day. The biggest international success was 2nd place in the European League (EHL) in 2000.
HC Slavia Prague - plays in the Czech Extraliga. It was champion of the 2007–08 season. It plays home games in the O2 Arena in Prague.
You might of already heard of our Welcome hostels (Welcome hostel Praguecenter, Welcome hostel Dejvice, Welcome hostel Orlik, Welcome hostel Hlavkova and the Welcome hostel Strahov) some of the biggest hostels in Prague reaching a full capacity of 1000 beds in the summer months. Most of our hostels are student dorms during term time which means the capacity shrinks down to 100 beds during the rest of the year with an additional 100 beds over Christmas and New Year, when Prague looks most beautiful in the snow and the party to celebrate the new year begins......
