St Mathew's Fair - 03 March 2012 - 22 April 2012

Prague Easter Markets 2012 - 24 March 2012 - 15 April 2012
They feature a selection of handcrafted goods, crystal, candles, jewellery, toys from wood, metal-ware, embroidery, puppets, dolls in traditional costumes, hand-painted Easter eggs. You can taste traditional food and drink, from hot sausages, Pilsner beer. Open daily.

Prague Marathon - 13 May 2012
The Prague International Marathon takes place on Sunday 13th May, with 20,000 runners expected to participate. However, on the Saturday, starts a weekend of activities including a relay/team corporate marathon, a family mini-marathon (4.2km), an eco walk (2km) and a university marathon. Czech Beer Festival in Prague - 17 May 2012 - 02 June 2012
The Czech Beer Festival is the largest gastronomic event in the Czech Republic, with seating for 10,000 visitors on long benches inside marquees. Sample 70 different beers from Czech breweries and local food. Waiters dress in traditional Czech folk costume and there are live bands to entertain. No need to pre-book, just turn up and gain free admission.

The Prague Proms annual music festival is a series of classical concerts organised by the Czech National Symphony Orchestra at their Prague home, the Municipal House. Sting - Back to Bass Tour - 25 June 2012
The Sting's Back to Bass tour was extended to Europe! It celebrates the 25th anniversary of Sting's solo career by taking it back to bass…all the hits, stripped down, as they haven't been played in years. In support of Sting: 25 Years, the recently released box set collection, Back to Bass finds Sting performing songs spanning his dynamic solo career, plus a selection of The Police's greatest hits. Sting will be joined by a band including his longtime guitarist Dominic Miller, Rufus Miller (guitarist), Vinnie Colaiuta (drummer), Peter Tickell (electric fiddle), and Jo Lawry (vocalist).

Prague Folklore Days - 26 July 2012 - 29 July 2012
The 6th International meeting of folk groups in Prague runs over four days on open air stages at the Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square and Republic Square. Christmas Markets - 01 December 2012 - 06 January 2013
Christmas decorations, hand-made wooden toys, candles, jewellery, sweets, traditional food, baked chestnuts, grilled sausages, hot wine and other Czech products are on display in the Prague Christmas markets. A Christmas tree is lit and school children perform traditional Czech Christmas carols and dances. Where: Old Town Square & Wenceslas Square.
